Route between the Sacro Monte SS. Trinità, World Heritage of Humanity, and Pollino: inside broad-leaved woods, Special Nature Reserve, at times steep pass by the Sabbia Rossa Chapel and the Streghe little lake. Views on Lake Maggiore.

A compact 2.8 km route ideal for a relaxed morning out. At an easy pace, plan for about 38 minutes.

This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. Follow the R16 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
