S08 Cavaglio - Monte Giove

From Cavaglio San Donnino go along the Rio Cavaglio valley and cross it on the Ganna bridge, go up to the mountain pastures Cruscina and Biessen to reach Alpe Rombiago (Baita degli Zabò refuge) and from here to the nearby top of the Monte Giove.

Covering just 4.3 km, this is a gentle outing perfect for families or beginners. Allow roughly 58 minutes.

This linear trail moves from one end to the other without looping back. A return journey by transport — or retracing the path — is needed to get back to the start. The trail is officially waymarked as S08, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
