S10 Cavaglio - Le Biuse - Monte Limidario

A long and demanding route that leads from Cavaglio to the panoramic peak of Monte Limidario through the wonderful mountain pasture of Monti Olzeno, Le Biuse with the Rifugio delle Nevi, Tre Confini, Catta Margugna and the bivouac of Alpe Quadra.

At 9.2 km, this is a comfortable half-day walk for most hikers. At an average walking pace, plan for roughly 2 hours and 3 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Follow the S10 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

As a Local Walking Network (LWN) route, this trail has a strong community character. It serves both regular local walkers and visitors discovering the area for the first time.
