Blue Lake Ridge Trail #271

This 11.7 mile multiple use trail climbs steadily through conifer forests and has heavy use. A short section of the trail above Blue Lake is "Hiker Only" to minimize noise near the lake.

At 12.3 km, this is a solid full-day hike. At an average walking pace you can expect to complete the route in roughly 2 hours and 44 minutes.

As a linear trail, this route has distinct start and end points. Return transport is worth arranging in advance unless you plan to walk back the same way. Follow the 271 waymarkers throughout to stay on the official trail line.

This trail forms part of the Regional Walking Network (RWN), linking local communities and natural features across the region. Waymarking is managed at the regional level.
