Via di Linari - tappa 3 - Torrechiara - San Michele Cavana
The Via di Linari is an ancient route of commercial passage and pilgrimage to Rome as an alternative to the Via Francigena on which it was grafted from the city of Fidenza towards Parma to reach Tuscany through the Lagastrello Pass.
A 13.7 km full-day trail that rewards walkers with a proper day out. Budget roughly 3 hours and 3 minutes at a steady pace.
This is a point-to-point route, running from one location to another. Plan ahead for return transport, or consider reversing the route on your way back. The trail is officially waymarked as VL, so look out for the trail markers along the way.
